Location: Preferably New York, open to tri state if you can get to NYC regularly.

We are working with a leading digital health platform dedicated to improving patient outcomes and empowering individuals to take control of their health. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Head of Data to join their dynamic team and drive data-driven decision-making throughout the organization.


Role Overview:


As the Head of Data, you will be responsible for leading and managing data strategy and operations. You will oversee data collection, analysis, and reporting to provide actionable insights that drive product development, marketing initiatives, and business growth within the healthcare industry.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Provide data-driven insights to pharma and other healthcare companies: Collaborate with pharma partners to leverage data to inform their marketing
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive data strategy aligned with overall business objectives, focusing on leveraging data to drive effective marketing campaigns and improve patient outcomes.
  • Oversee data collection, cleaning, and integration from various sources, including clinical data, patient data, and external data providers.
  • Develop and implement advanced data analytics techniques, including predictive modeling, machine learning, and natural language processing, to extract valuable insights for marketing and business development.


Qualifications


  • 8+ years of experience in a data leadership role, preferably in the healthcare or technology industry.
  • Experience working with (or at) data providers like IQVIA, Komodo, Veeva crossix, MedFuse etc
  • Strong technical skills, including proficiency in SQL, Python, and data visualization tools.
  • Experience with data warehousing, data modeling, and data governance.
  • Knowledge of healthcare data standards and regulations (e.g., HIPAA, GDPR).
  • Expertise in leveraging advanced analytics to drive data-driven marketing strategies.
  • Deep understanding of patient health and SDOH data.
  • Proven ability to launch and optimize brands through data-driven insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex data insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Passion for leveraging data to drive business growth and improve patient outcomes.
